Refurbish and Refresh!
Posted by Negar Khatami on
During the month of January we decided to try something a little bit different at Katami Designs. We wanted to give people the opportunity to re-design their heirloom jewelry in order to keep it relevant to their own personal style, as well as today's fashion trends. Those interested could meet with Negar Khatami for a free custom jewellery consultation to help them transform their sentimental, old-fashioned jewellery into contemporary and unique pieces. I must say, we currently have some truly one-of-a-kind pieces in the making! Here is a little sneak peak of a finished piece we re-designed for Vancouver personal stylist, Michelle Addison....

What a fun Day!
Posted by Negar Khatami on
I've been dying to put this post up for you. I had such a fun day at Bloedel Conservatory for Mother's Day. They know how to put a great event on, and did they ever make it happen! We arrived in the morning for set up and little did we know that this lovely lady, Sinfor Wong, had everything under control, and greeted us with her beautiful smile and lead us in. She is one of the top event planners in Vancouver and we got the opportunity to chat with her during her busy day. I am hoping that she...

Last Minute Mother's Day Gift Shopping!
Posted by Negar Khatami on
As it's getting closer to Mother's Day, I am seeing a lot of rush in, last minute shopping in my gallery. I giggle a little bit as I see clients coming in in a panic mode, because I know I will have a unique gift for them and there is no need to panic. So, I thought I should put a little list of what I think makes a great Mother's Day gift & creates the search a little bit easier for you. First off, the obvious one, I'd start with a few jewellery from my gallery. Pearl Blossom Ring...

Pile it On
Posted by Noelene Searle-Valleau on
Our fashion friends are wearing rings en masse these days. Kind of like a ring party. Rings on their ring fingers, rings on their index fingers, rings on their middle fingers. Wearing two, four, or more, rings per hand, also big is wearing multiple rings on one finger. Choose from a variety of textures and styles, finishes, widths and colours. This look also works well with a pile of pretty bangles. Maximize not minimize here girls!
