New Acrostic Collection

Negar Khatami has just launched her new Acrostic collection, in which she has put a modern and sophisticated twist on an age-old literary device. These unique and exquisite pieces are cast in 14K gold and set with hand-selected precious stones. The first of each stone represents that same letter in the alphabet, thus enabling the wearer to sport a hidden word or phrase in an acrostic fashion. Note that each elegant, diamond-shaped pendant is adorned with a different precious stone, instilling the collection with a timeless quality. Hermès at Work: My Experience

On Sunday, September 25th, I was able to catch the last day of the travelling "Hermès at Work" exhibition at the Jack Pool Plaza in Coal Harbour Vancouver. The event, which allows the skilled craftspeople that have made this brand endure for over a century, gave me a chance to interact with some of these individuals and witness their elaborate methods of creation. Jasem Qaisi - Heyday

Posted by Negar Khatami on

On July 28th we opened the doors of our gallery to a new found, hidden gem of an artist, Jasem Qaisi. Jasem is a painter from Iraq that I had the opportunity to meet a few weeks ago in our gallery during our second anniversary event on June 2nd.  Learning that he is from Iraq, ignited my curiosity as I had never met anyone from the country that we were in war with for nearly 8 years in the late 80's. Over the years, as a result of the war, I had created a big grudge and skewed perception of all...
