Have you always wanted to make your own beautiful piece of sterling silver jewelry? Perhaps you love the art of silversmithing and want to expand your skills? Or are you just looking for some new and exciting things to do in Vancouver? We offer a range of intimate jewelry workshops at our vibrant studio space (located in Mount Pleasant, Vancouver), providing participants with the opportunity to explore the media and practices of jewelry and silversmithing.
All of our jewelry workshops are taught by experienced jeweller Negar Khatami, who has been one of Vancouver’s leading jewelry artists for over 6 years. Each class is semi-private, with a maximum of 6 students. This allows for lots of individual attention, in-depth explanations of techniques and more time spent hands on working with the tools - something we believe is very important and what sets us apart from other silversmithing workshops. In each 3 hour jewelry workshop, Negar will provide a brief introduction to silversmithing and teach you some of the basic techniques used in this ancient trade. Each participant will leave with a unique piece of silver jewelry, handmade by you and one of a kind!
We generally hold our jewelry workshops on Tuesdays and Saturdays and we have a rotating schedule here in our Mount Pleasant jewelry studio. Click on the images below for more information on our current jewelry workshops & classes.
Looking to gift a workshop but not sure which one the lucky person would like to try out? Why not purchase one of our workshop gift certificates that can be used on any of our classes. You've already won them over with the fantastic and creative present, let them decide the rest!
